Mexican- American War, The Fourteen Points and The Treaty Of Versailles

Throughout the centuries of the United States, the main goal of its foreign policy has been to protect the nation's interest. The United States has taken the strongest military and economic foreign policy. Two ways the U.S tried to protect the nation's interest was by the Mexican-American war along with The Fourteen Points and The Treaty of Versailles.
One way the U.S. tried to protect the nation's interest was by the Mexican-American War. The Mexican-American War was a war Mexico and the United States fought for Texas from 1846 to 1848. The U.S. and Mexico both wanted Texas but they been fighting to find the border of Texas. Mexico said that the border was the middle of Texas but the U.S. stated that the border was the Rio Grande. Then Mexico found out that Texas joined the U.S. and Mexico was against it and that's how the Mexican-American war started.
Another way the U.S. protected the nation’s interest was by the 14 points and the Treaty of Versailles. The 14 points was addressed to Congress in January 8, 1918 by Woodrow Wilson. The 14 points proposed a program of 14 points that was to be used for peace negotiations after World War I. Also the Treaty Of Versailles was a document signed between Germany and the allies power following world war I that officially ended that war. But it didn't really work because world war II has just started.
These are the ways that the U.S. tried to protect the nation's interest, by the 14 points and the Treaty of Versailles. Some people agreed with these documents and some didn't .

US HISTORY THEMATIC

The world has been forged through so much manipulation , and unpeaceful endings. Many events have been occurring to add such hatred all over the world, like the famous WWII and The Cold War. These two events have been very contributional , which caused the world to be what it is today; cruel. The Cold War helped the U.S. build a large military and a large economic power.

World War II occurred in 1939 and ended in 1945. This Global war involved many countries. The Axis powers consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan. The
Allies consisted of Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, The Soviet Union (US), and China. Britain and France declared war on Germany following Germany’s invasion of Poland. Japan’s desires to build an East Asian empire had alarmed the U.S. since Japan’s invasion of China in 1931/ The U.S. did not want Japan to mess with their trade in China or let Japan take over China. Responding to Europe's fighting, the U.S. provided economic and military aid to help the allies achieve victory. The military capability of the U.S. became a deciding factor in WWII and world affairs ever since.

The Cold War helped build military power in America. Oil and nuclear companies in America gained a lot of economic profit which helped construct their army. 362 billions dollars was made to do this. Both The Cold War and WWII had several things in common. WWII and The Cold War made profit off selling weapons to their allies. which caused great help in America. This also created the Soviet-German Pact then led to unnecessary

The Cold War and WWII helped the U.S become a better military power. The Cold War helped the U.S become a military power and WWII helped the U.S gain alliances with other foreign nations. Many other wars help the united states become a better military power. The U.S became one most free country because of these wars.

Foreign policy is a government's strategy in dealing with other nations. During the history of the United States, the main goal of its foreign policy has been to protect the nation's regards. The United States has taken armed forces and economic diplomacy actions to attain that goal. These actions have issued in many degrees of achievement. Two foreign policy actions that the United States has taken are the intervention in the Vietnam War and the intervention in the Korean War.

One foreign policy action taken by the united states is the Vietnam War. The Vietnam war helped protect the nation's regards because of the Domino effect, a theory from the 1950’s to the 1980’s that circulated that if one region came under the influence of communism, then the surrounding countries would follow the domino effect. The United States decided to build and sustain a more democratic, secure, and prosperous world for the benefit of the american people and the international community. This action was unsuccessful in protecting the U.S. national regard because America lost in the Vietnam war and their secret reasons of joining the Vietnam war got leaked and since it got leaked everyone in america gave no public support.

Another foreign policy action taken by the United States is the Korean War. The Korean war helped protect the nation's regards because of the huge 42 million population of hard-working people, is a massive economic benefit for America, and their political dominance over Korea, they hate the American military and political presence there. They even believe that having "Western features," like wide eyes rather than slanty Asian eyes, is more attractive, and people as young as 10 years old get plastic surgery done to look more Western. The USA also has a huge population of workers who create their computers, cars, and TVs for a fraction of the price it would cost them to make it in America due to the very low wages and long hours of Korean workers. The Korean War gave America a very important military presence in Korea is a perfect place for the US military to test new weapons in the waters.

Overall the Vietnam war and the Korean war both protected the nation's regards. The Vietnam war and the Korean war both took many armed forces and economic diplomacy to attain that goal, successfully and unsuccessfully.

U.S Foreign policies determine how the United States gets involved in issues around the world. These policies are made to protect the interests of the United States. The United states has taken military and economical actions in other countries to protect the nation interests. Two foreign policies that the united states got involved with are The Korean War and The bombing of Hiroshima.

The Korean war was largely contributed by Cold War tensions between the United States and Russia. The United States believed that if communism spread down into South Korea as it had in North Korea then a domino effect would set in and it could be spread worldwide. The trigger for the war was when, in 1950, Syngman Rhee boasted that he was going to attack North Korea. It was a good enough excuse – the North Koreans invaded South Korea. This started the actual fighting. On June 25th,1950 - 75,000 soldiers North Korea invaded South Korea. This was the first military action of the cold war. On that day, the United Nations Security Council recognized this North Korean act as invasion and called for an immediate ceasefire. As far as the Americans were concerned, this was a war against international democracy. The U.S chose to intervene as a precaution, and selfishly, because of the competition it had with Russia. The Korean War gave America a very important military presence in Asia. The USA already had Japan as a launching point for any military activities in the area once they took over Japan after WW2.
On August 6, 1945, during World War II (1939-45),dropped the world’s first deployed atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

The use of the Atomic Bomb against Japan was one of the most significant foreign policy decisions the U.S. Government has ever had to make. In 1945 the japanese military attacked the Pearl Harbor an American military bases located pacific ocean because the united state controlled the Pacific and use to have their military base.
The dropping of the atomic bomb was a one policy that has been undertaken by the united states for their demonstrated military power after making the first bomb and it was the first use of the atomic bomb by usa this committee of degas very devastating in human history.

The Treaty of Versailles was one of the peace treaties at the end of World War 1. It ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied power. It was signed on 28 June 1919, exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

Then Mexico found out that Texas joined the U.S. and Mexico was against it and that's how the Mexican-American war started. But the main reason or ways the U.S.protected the union's interest was because if they got Texas they’ll get more taxes from that state. Also by the population and territory that Texas had. Last they wanted Texas to protect the union's interest because Texas is the border of Mexico so we have a huge separations between the U.S. and Mexico. These are the ways the U.S. protected the union's interest by the Mexican-American war.
Another way the U.S. protected the nation’s interest was by the 14 points and the Treaty of Versailles. The 14 points was addressed to Congress in January 8, 1918 by Woodrow Wilson. Also the Treaty Of Versailles was a document signed between germany and the allies power following World War I that officially ended that war. These two points and documents did worked and did give peace until World War II. WWII started because the U.S. and other countries was fighting for oil. The way these tried to protect the nation’s interest is because these two documents and bullet points
brought freedom between the countries. With everybody being friendly and peacefully there wouldn't be no more war. So we would save millions of dollars by not spending money on food, clothing, weapons, and shelter. But on the other hand The Treaty of Versaille was a document saying there will be freedom between Germany and the U.S. but Germany would need to pay the war. But the U.S. didn't really want that because they think that would cause another war between germany which afterwards did happen.
These are the ways that the U.S. tried to protect the nation's interest, by the 14 points and the Treaty of Versailles. the 14 points protected our nation's interest by trying to prevent another war however the Treaty of Versailles end up causing another war anyway.the Mexican American war protected American interest by giving us more land and keeping mexico away from part of America that was settled. Both of these actions try to keep peace in America.

The main reason or ways the U.S.protected the union's interest was because if they got Texas they’ll get more taxes from that state. Also by the population and territory that Texas had, because the bigger the territory, the more taxes the government could get. Also if the U.S. gets Texas, they would have a huge separation between each other. Germany did not have enough money to pay for the war so they were broke and went into depression. The German people was looking for a leader who was going to help them powerful and he ended up causing them to go World War II. The U.S. really want to stay out of the WWII because it caused a lot of money and soldiers lives and they just came from ww1.
